We offer traditional floral design services, including bouquets, centerpieces, arbors, rentals and tablescaping. Or for you may purchase just the flowers and have someone arrange them for you. Some brides have us arrange the wedding party flowers and they arrange the reception flowers. Fresh flowers are offered by the mixed bucketful or individual types of flowers may purchased by the bunch. Herbs and succulents are also available. Many people looking for loose or 'bulk flowers' order by the bucketful. Order mixed seasonal flowers for $65 per bucket, for April-May and specific colors $70. Or you may choose from our freshly cut selection on Friday afternoon. These flowers are sold by the bunch. Bunches are either 5,10 or 20 stems. Bucketfuls of White and blue flowers for a June wedding Birdwatching at Shady Grove on the NC Birding TrailOur 76 acre farm its located on the slopes of 'The Peak', in the Amphibolite Mountains of Ashe County. Open meadows, early succession forest, numerous streams & mountain bogs provide excellent habitat many types of birds as well as great long range views. Birding watching is open to everyone. Admission for self-guided walks is $5, and for guided walks $20. Trails are moderate. Most anyone will enjoy the combination open meadow, farm roads and rich cove forest. With luck, everyone will be able to see the Golden Winged Warbler, a Species of Special Concern. Birders can stay as long as they want, however birding and photography is best very early in the morning. We offer birding Sunday-Thursday. Call for information and directions.

We will have a good selection of native plants, plugs and flowers. We are growing Rosemary, Lavender, Peony, Clematis, Hardy Geranium, Hardy Garden Mums and Daylilies. Our shrubs include Hydrangea and Lilac. We will have many unique vegetable transplants. These include herbs, heirloom tomatoes and sweet peppers we like to grow and eat.
