Locally Grown Wedding Flowers
Shady Grove offers Fresh Mountain grown flowers. We are 'Your Local Flower Grower' for the Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, Linville, NC area. We deliver throughout the 'High Country' of NC. There is something to please everyone. We grow over 200 varieties of perennials and shrubs along with 50 different types of annuals. You may purchase wedding flowers two ways. We offer traditional floral design services, including bouquets, centerpieces, arbors, rentals and tablescaping.
Or you may purchase the flowers and have someone arrange them for you. Some brides have us arrange the wedding party flowers and they arrange the reception flowers. Fresh flowers are offered by the mixed bucketful or individual types of flowers may purchased by the bunch. Herbs and succulents are also available. Try us first, for the best value as well as fresh, organic and locally grown flowers for the entire High Country Region.

Ordering Cut Flowers
Locally Grown fresh cut flowers for any occasion. For Designs or bucketfuls of flowers start by calling 828-297-4098 with your order or questions.
Many people looking for loose or 'bulk flowers' order by the bucketful. Order mixed seasonal flowers for $65 per bucket, for April-May and specific colors $75. Orders will require a 1/2 deposit, checks are preferred.

Our 76 acre farm its located on the slopes of 'The Peak', in the Amphibolite Mountains of Ashe County. Open meadows, early succession forest, numerous streams & mountain bogs provide excellent habitat many types of birds as well as great long range views.
Birding watching is open to everyone. Admission for self-guided walks is $5, and for guided walks $20. Trails are moderate. Most anyone will enjoy the combination open meadow, farm roads and rich cove forest. With luck, everyone will be able to see the Golden Winged Warbler, a Species of Special Concern. Birders can stay as long as they want, however birding and photography is best very early in the morning. We offer birding Sunday-Thursday. Call for information and directions.

Shady Grove Gardens has offered perennials and flowering shrubs at our nursery since 1986. Nursery hours are 9-6 on Friday, or call for an appointment to visit at other times. We are flexible. We specialize in shade and partial shade plants for the High Country.
We think you will find our plants very healthy and reasonably priced.
We will have a good selection of native plants and perennials for cut flowers. We grow Rosemary, Lavender, Echinops, Veronica, Hardy Geranium, Salvia and Daylilies. Our shrubs include Hypericum and Ilex. We will have many unique vegetable transplants. These include herbs, heirloom tomatoes and sweet peppers we like to grow and eat.
