  • You may order ahead and pick these up at the nursery in Zionville, NC or arrange delivery to the Wednesday Farmers' Market in Boone, NC.
  • Flowers are cut and ready for sale every Friday afternoon at the Nursery. On Friday afternoon only, you may pick from our total assortment of our un-promised flowers.

If you would like to know what we will have a given week, just e-mail for a list or view a short list of suggestions for each week on our wedding flower page.

Generally, our flower cutting season runs from Late April until November. The greatest selection is available July-September.

Don't forget our Orange or Red Winterberry Holly for your Holiday decorations.

If you are thinking of getting buckets they are mixed of what looks best. Otherwise, you can buy the flowers by the bunch usually 10's or 20's. The large woody plants like Lilac, Viburnum and Hydrangea are by the stem ~$1.00-3.00.

Directions: To the nursery in Zionville, NC from Boone, take Hwy. 421 North 9 miles to Will Isaacs Rd. go uphill 1 mile, to end. Take left driveway to nursery at our house. There are signs at the dead-end in Will Isaacs Rd. Phone: 828-297-4098

Additional thoughts:

  • We use complicated post-harvest techniques to insure your flower quality. Many flower varieties are treated differently.
  • We now have 2 locations. With the flowers spread out over 2 counties it is better for us, to cut for you and have a scheduled pickup or delivery.
  • Anyone can pre-order flowers, this also includes our wedding designs, florist, and wedding parties. Some items are shippable.
  • We encourage everyone to schedule an appointment early, 1 or 2 weeks before the event, to see the flowers and place an order. This can also be done at the Watauga Co. Farmers' Market on Saturday mornings. Come early to see the full selection of flowers.
  • Those of you that are planning farther ahead, ask for a detailed list of what we expect to have for your special day.
  • A full selection of Cutflowers can often be seen Friday afternoon at the nursery. You may purchase from these flowers. Please call ahead so we can set aside promised flowers.
  • The most popular way to purchase flowers is by ordering mixed bucketfuls @ $50 of what looks best. Prices are the same for everyone. Farm direct cut flower purchases of un-arranged flowers are not required to collect sales tax in NC. Another reason to buy from us, "Your Local Flower Growers".
